Patient hurry when shopping for a new home!!
I often use this expression to describe how clients should
look for a new home. Get everything
organized so you are ready to purchase. Meet
with your loan officer and know what you can afford. I know it is easy to say, “We can afford a
bit more”, but understanding your limits is important to making a good long
term decision
Know what you want in your new home. Everyone has certain features they must have and
can’t live without. There are also those
features that are not that important. They would be
a bonus if they came with the house, but you are able to live without
them.
With your understanding of what you can afford and list of
desired features in hand, you are ready to start looking. You are now poised to make a quick and
informed decision when the right property comes to market. Having many of these questions answered
beforehand makes it possible for you to patiently look for your new home and
hurry and write an offer when the right house comes up.
Patiently looking for the right home to come along and when
it does you will be in a hurry to buy it.
